The common mental state is somewhere inbetween a subconscious / supraconscious divide, rather on the lower end. The ability to descend or to ascend are both working on the vertical plane. Religion and moralism belongs to the horizontal plane, it is a safeness, a shielding, and a limiting of potential. When we depart from it everything can happen, and it is not recommended for everyone. Development of an intuitive language can provide centrality and stability used like a mantra. It does not necessarily have to be a language, depending on personal gifts. It could also be symbolic, musical, color-coded, images, sounds or something else. It just has to be a way of understanding and expressing directions to onseself that resonates with the whole being to make a wholeness.

It was just meant as a catious warning and to expand some ideas. I do not know exactly what your techniques does or how they work, so I am in no position to judge them. I thought of your tongues as a kind of intuitive language, which might be wrong, and the possibility of replacing them with that which suits ones own personal composition. I believe that gifted individuals always have a unique method of internal understanding that does not rely upon ordinary language and which might not always translate to others because of that. It is also possible your tongues is a way to drown ordinary thoughts and be free of the ego in order to open up for other influences, in that case be aware of where that influence comes from, there is a new access open as you say in the video. I would make a clear distinction between the spiritual ideas/philosophy espressed through a koan and the subconscious so as not to confuse them. The motive should not be any external values such as popularity, but rather the highest personal potential in serving the universal and be part of the Kingdom of God.

It sounds like we are mostly in agreement then. Glossolalia is unique to the individual, yes. Those with high TT IQ may invent languages semi deliberately and thus have some knowledge of the meaning of some of the words in their tongues stream. I am not sure if this is the same as pure glossolalia or not. I think much of the benefit comes from an absence of discursive content. I agree about motive; as long as social performance is the highest priority any disruption in performance can disturb the core, making it fragile. Eye on the horizon.

As someone who follows a pagan path(norse/asatru) I practice galdr or runesong and feel that it would fit a similar niche as your speaking in tongues. I think that looking at Norse myth objectively you could even see the story of Odin discovering the runes as him finding his own form of tongues to work with. As you are a christian I’m not sure if this is something you have any familiarity with but I would recommend reading up on it.

Similar in that they’re both words of power, but different in that galdr have a predetermined memorized and known content, which in my opinion makes it less effective, accessing a completely different part of the brain than glossolalia. Why not try your own glossolalia, it might be norse chants after all.
