Mainstream Anthro Coverup of Gracile Amud Neanderthals

After yet another spin around the internet looking at all the Amud skulls, my doubts on Tex Arcane’s gracile Amud theory were firm. I emailed him thusly:
Hi Tex,
I find no evidence of the high square forehead you have referred to as “Amud” in any Neanderthal skulls. I believe I have seen the pics related to the Amud find, and they show a strongly slanted forehead.
This suggests to me that the high square forehead is the result of Melon crossbreeding. From what I know of the prefrontal cortex from psych trait correlation, it appears to be an ethical/moral center designed to provide the facility necessary to behave ethically in a larger, complex social grouping. It does not appear that the Neanderthals had time to evolve this, since they were small tribe for their entire history.
Note that this forehead does not provide a compulsion, only a facility. Possessors of the trait will think in more sophisticatedly ethical and universal ways.
I also do not find much evidence for gracilization of the lower face, ie reduction of prognathicism and shrinking of midface, in Neanderthal skulls. But perhaps those examples are being misclassified as early sapiens? Once again we already know of a genetic source for these gracilized features – the melonheads.
I wanted to give you a chance for rebuttal before departing from your model on this point.

Over the past thirty years I have seen skulls held up of Heidelbergensis, Erectus and gorilla origins and each one of them has been put on public display with a label reading “Amud.”
None of these skulls are Amud skulls. The skulls on display in Germany were recently admitted to be blatant forgeries in plasticine that had been presented for the past forty years as Neanderthal Amud skulls. They were in fact modeled in plasticine after gorilla skulls.
I have a book here in my study published in the 1960′s that shows a wide variety of profile and full frontal shots of Amud skulls and not a single one of them is prognathic or does the forehead slant back in any of them. I have another book published in the early 90′s which has the “same skulls” labeled by where they were found and all of them have jutting chins like baboons.
“Same” skulls. Different publication dates.
I can see you think it is unlikely a hoax of that magnitude could be perpetrated, especially after earlier versions were made available.

I will make my position clear on this subject because I realize I may have not been in the past.
The falsification of Amud skulls is possibly one of the biggest frauds in the history of science in the West. Obviously, it is really important to some people to keep these concealed from the public nowadays for political reasons. That may explain why you need a national security clearance in Israel to see these skulls since Rabin was assassinated.
If you want to know what could provide such a powerful incentive, you have to remember how many times the Amud were described as “mimics” in the literature in the 50′s and 60′s. That is a pretty big word to throw out there and I am sure you will understand there is no way that the Amud skulls presented today could possibly have justified that word. Some anthropologists said “Clark Kent Syndrome” which I am sure you will realize would never be used to describe many of the “Amud” skulls which are touted nowadays. Why would somebody call a skull that clearly looks like a baboon snout “Clark Kent?” Impossible, somebody is lying.
If you have trouble believing that authority figures would ever deliberately lie about anything, you will have trouble believing as I do. I believe the majority of all information in the public media is lies. All of it, in particular most of the anthropology we get nowadays is so heavily sanitized it is useless as information.
I have been a little busy lately, to say the least. I will try to scan some of the pictures I have here and email them to you privately for your site. I have really been pressed for time and have only thrown up a post or two each day on Vault-Co to keep the site alive.

I actually first acquired this book twenty years ago when I was selling them for a living in New York. I have had a copy ever since.
One chapter deals with the old scam of shattering the eyes beneath the sockets and then pulling the jaw forward where if it is raised slightly it appears to fit seamlessly. It is like the people who work at the carnival making monsters out of old bones with wire and glue.
I was just flipping through “The Bone Peddlers” for the first time in many years. I found another book “Amuds In Israel,” a book you can no longer get because it was taken off the shelves.
There’s a chapter talking about the excitement that greeted the discovery of the first amud skulls – WHEN THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE CROMAGNONs.
After too much transparency (other experts examining the skulls and bones) when it became obvious they were Neanderthals, that’s when the controversy began to rage. They remained accessible for a short time afterwards and then they vanished out of scientific journals.
When they reappeared in the 80′s, the author pointed out they now sported prognathism and receding foreheads. He then describes the trick by which this can be accomplished in the “reconstruction,” by breaking the skull beneath the eyes and above the brow.

This was a huge scandal.
This guy is implicated in so many cheap, vulgar little scandals it is difficult to believe this single person was consulted as a sole authority and his pronouncements published as gospel. He was an embezzler involved in kiting bad checks, selling ape fossils not only illegally but telling people they were Neanderthals, offering to trade fossils for sex with American female scientists. It is unbelievable how criminal this guy was. A crowning star of the university circuit. They now have to go through his huge inventory of fakes for decades tossing out half his data and almost all his “discoveries.”
A really cheesy, disgusting little industry of shifty grifters and conmen. This guy is pretty typical of the lot of them. Trading on fake credentials and situated right in the beating heart of the “authority” of academia.
Now I think most of the problem in archaeology is perverse incentives, not 100% knowing deliberate fraud. But the environment of fudging that the bias creates makes anthropology ripe for fraudster predations. So let’s take a look at this Reiner Protsch.
First, here is the Skeptic’s Dictionary entry. Be sure to read to the corrections at the bottom, as the article itself is misleading without them, re Neanderthals. Neanderthal admixture does NOT depend on Protsch’s evidence, but has been soundly established by genetic science.
Essentially, the Skeptic’s Dictionary message is “We caught the axe murderer, now move along so we can all get back to killing the truth discreetly.” Whatevs. I’m more interested in Protsch’s face.
Ho, interesting! Looks like he’s a huge melon back with a piercing small-eyed gaze and shallowish sockets, just enough depth to keep him in academia, but not nearly enough to keep him honest. His downward bent nose is a dishonesty/exploitation feature. Combine that with his high testosterone brow, curved browbone and he looks very much like a bird of prey – which is what he has been for 30 years. This is not a face you trust, and I don’t just mean the expression – it’s in the bones.
And… is that some kind of massive boil on his head? I suppose that would sour one’s disposition.
Oh yeah, and I should check out that book on Amuds. Or something.
